UL
UL or Underwriters Laboratories, Certifies products for safety and sustainability. UL also sets industry standards for companies to follow during the process of innovating new products. Each one of our products that are UL Listed has been tested for safety and customer readiness.
ETL
ETL or Electrical Testing Laboratory, a division of Intertek performs similar functions to UL regarding testing and certification. The main difference is that ETL tests all products to standards established by UL. All our products whether they are UL or ETL listed are tested against the same standards.
DLC
DLC or the Design Lighting Consortium tests commercial lighting for performance, efficiency, and quality. To get qualified, the product has to go through extensive third-party testing to ensure the performance matches the claims. DLC also works with utility companies around the country to include DLC-listed products in lighting rebates and incentive programs. Most utility companies require the fixture to be DLC listed to qualify for rebates, which helps in creating financially viable retrofit programs.
